2018 WTA TAIWAN OPEN 臺灣公開賽

※Event Introduction:

WTA TAIWAN OPEN is a 9-day event which will be held in the 5th week of the WTA annual calendar regularly in Taipei, Taiwan commencing in 2017. It is one of the most important international sport feasts in Taiwan From 27th Jan. to 4th Feb. More than 40 of the world’s top professional female tennis players will compete in singles and doubles at Taipei.

  2. Qualifying 2018/01/27-2017/01/28

  1. One Day Pass:2018/01/01 12:00~

※On site Tickets Sale:

Ticket on-site sale will be available at Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium from 29th January to 4th February.

Tickets will be available at the tickets office 2 hours before the first match starts.

※Notice to Audience:
  1. Please read these terms and conditions carefully. Anyone who purchases, holds or uses a ticket for the Taiwan open shall be deemed as having read, understood and accepted all terms and conditions of ticket sales and use. In the event that you fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions, the Organizing Committee for the Taiwan Open (OCTWO) shall reserve the right to refuse your entry, or shall request that you leave a venue, without any guarantee of refund.
  2. Please check the session and seating information while purchasing tickets. No refund or exchange will be offered on any ticket including the complementary tickets except as announced by OCTWO or where required by law.
  3. Please purchase the ticket from official channels. Any damage to the ticket or the intellectual chip could cause failure to the entry of the ticket holder. The entry to the Taiwan Open could also be denied, without any guarantee or refund.
  4. The competition Schedule of the Taiwan Open is subject to change if necessary, without notice, due to adverse weather or other reasons. OCTWO reserves the right to cancel , withdraw, postpone ,relocate or reschedule players to protect the interests of players or patrons.
  5. Ticketed courts open not earlier than 1 hour before the first match. Your cooperation is appreciated when security check is necessary.
  6. You must not use flash camera , recording tool and using laptop at the venue.
  7. Any behavior that will disrupt the smooth and orderly progress of the matches is forbidden.
  8. You consent to be photographed, filmed and taped by the OCTWO and the authorized third parties. Meanwhile, you agree that the OCTWO and the authorized third parties can broadcast, publish, license and use the above materials without giving you any compensation or assuming any liabilities to you.
  9. Images, videos and sound recordings of the Taiwan Open taken by you with a camera, video camera or audio equipment or any other kind of equipment may not be used for any purpose other than private, non-commercial purposes.
  10. Making or distribution of any images, sounds, data, results, statistics or commentary of the Taiwan Open by any means in any format or media is forbidden.
  11. No ticket holder may continually collect, disseminate, transmit, publish or release from the grounds of the Tournament any matches scores or related statistical data during match play (from commencement of a match through its conclusion) for any commercial, betting or gambling purpose. Any person suspected of conducting these activities will be removed from the tournament venue and banned from future attendance.

  13. In case of any dispute, OCTWO reserve the right of final interpretation to these terms and conditions.

※Event Guideline:
  • Flinging confetti; carrying large flags, banners, signs, compressed air horns, fireworks, musical instruments, amplification equipments, and other dangerous items are not allowed into TAIWAN OPEN.
  • For the comfort and safety of spectators, please try to avoid bringing young children to the courts. If you have to, please take stringent precaution to prevent any accidents.
  • For the comfort and order spectators and players, please turn off your mobile or switch to silent mode within the spectator area of a tournament court. Standing and walking in the aisles or sitting on the stairs during the match is also not permitted.
  • Please avoid watching the match live if you have heart disease, asthma, epilepsy and other diseases may cause uncomfortable or unexpected due to the tension or excitement of the game.
  • Animals except service animals (e.g. seeing eye dogs, police dogs), unauthorized promotional, commercial, political, religious or offensive items of whatever nature including clothing, banners, signs, symbols and leaflets or flyer are not allowed into the venue. Any interference or disruption during the match is also prohibited.
  • No smoking within the spectator area of any tournament court.
  • Production, transmission or distribution of broadcasts or narrowcasts of any images, footage, sounds, data, results, statistics or commentary of the Taiwan Open or any match comprising the Taiwan Open by any means in any format or media (including by mobile phone or other wireless device) is strictly forbidden. 
  • Taking video footage via any means is forbidden unless there is a written consent of WTA/TAIWAN OPEN. Camera with capacity greater than 300mm, video cameras and handy-cams, audio recorders are not permitted in the court.
  • To maintain order and safety, WTA/TAIWAN OPEN reserve the right to refuse entry to or remove any person from the venue. If you are considered or seeking to breach the conditions profoundly and/or may endanger public security, police will come to deal with this matter.

※Etiquette:
  • Please turn off your mobile phones or set the phone on silent mode during the competition. Phone calls are prohibited in the venue.
  • Please do not make noise or talk beside the court during the competition.
  • Please do not use flashlight when taking pictures during the competition.
  • Please do not move about during the competition until the players change sides (after the odd-numbered set of each game and after the end of each set).
  • Smoking is strictly prohibited in the venue.
  • Please do not cheer the players face to face. Cheer only when the match is over.
  • If you get a ball that a player hits off the court, do not throw the ball into the court until time out is called. Do not throw the ball back to the court when the game is still on.
  • Please do not bring young to watch a tennis match, because they may disrupt the match by making noise.
  1. Please log-in your Facebook or Google account before purchasing tickets.
  2. Each order is limited to 4 tickets of the same match date (Purchasing via Smart Handheld Device is also available)
  3. If there is any uncompleted order in your account, account ticketing quota will be available after system erasing your previous order.
  4. Ticketing system provides area selection only; seating selection will not be required. The courts provide non-reserved seats. No change of areas or tickets once the order completed. It will be deal with ticketing cancelation due to personal issue.
  5. Payment can be made via either [ibon] or [online Credit Card].
  6. Payment via [ibon] :Please go to 7-11 in Taiwan and use the IBON machine to complete the payment process. The payment will be valid at least 15 minutes after order is completed. (Ex. 10:00 order completed, then you can use the IBON machine to complete the payment process at 10:15 and paid by 12:00.)
  7. [online Credit Card]: VISA, MASTER CARD, JCB are accepted for online payment (AMERICAN EXPRESS, Dinners Club and China Union Pay cards are not acceptable). Once the online payment completed there is no any excuse to refuse/object the payment ,no matter you collect the ticket from i-bon or not. .
  8. Once you purchase the center court ticket for that date, you may watch all games at the date.
  1. Collect the ticket via [ibon] only. Please pay by cash and surcharge of NT$30 will be collected for each order.
  2. Please go to 7-11 in Taiwan and use the IBON machine to complete the payment process: Click 『票券中心』/Ticket > Click 『售票系統』/Ticketing system > Click 『取票』/Get the ticket > Click 『拓元售票系統』/Tix Craft System
  1. 10% service fees will be charged for ticketing cancellation due to personal issue.
  2. Please return the tickets back 10 days before the first date of TAIWAN OPEN begins. Refunding request will not be accepted if returning tickets were made 10 days after the first date of TAIWAN OPEN beings.
  3. Process for Ticket Cancellation:
    1. On-line Credit Care Purchasing
      1. If the tickets have been collected, please download and complete the ticket cancelation application form and return your original ticket. Once completion of above process, money will be refunded to your credit card (service charge will be deducted).
      2. If the tickets have not been collected yet, please download and complete the ticket cancelation application form and fax it to 02-8772-9853. Once completion of above process, money will be refunded to your credit card (service charge will be deducted).
    2. Ibon
      1. If the tickets have been collected, please download and complete the ticket cancelation application form and return your original ticket. Once completion of above process, money will be refunded to your appointed account (service charge will be deducted).
  1. Process for tickets returning: Please send your original tickets, one of your copy of deposit book (it has to be a available domestic account in Taiwan which includes bank’s name, branch, account holder’s name, account number), your contact details via register or express mail to: TixCraft Costumer Service Department
